Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling took some “girl” criticism from trans influencer Jessica Alves. Rowling, a Scottish citizen, objects to the country’s new “hate” law that supporters said would make it a crime to misgender a trans person.
A staunch woman’s rights advocate, Rowling fired off a post that named 10 prominent Scottish trans people, calling them all by their biological pronouns.
Alves said Rowling’s words were “hurtful” and “She should stick to what she knows.”
“She’s a woman and so I’m also a woman. I’m a transgender woman, she’s a biological woman but we are both women.”
Ladies and gentlemen (if I’m allowed to write that in these days of woke sensibilities), meet Jessica Alves.
