I watched it twice. It was scripted and clearly the questions were known to Mr. Biden’s staff in advance. The president read his answers with the aid of written notes and, even at that, slurred words and appeared confused. It was a stunning display of disconnect.
At one point Mr.Biden said: "Okay, next, do I ask the next question, as well?"
On several occasions he asked to have the question re-read. At one point, he gave the wrong answer, proceeding to answer another pre-arranged question.
This is unbearable.
It not only goes to his mental acuity at press conferences, it goes to the question of who in the hell is really running the White House. After viewing this and taking into account his other public embarrassments, who can believe it is actually Mr. Biden himself?
No one.
This guy’s not functional and probably hasn’t been for a year.
I don’t see how you can see it differently.
